We all know that a gold kit will be coming very soon.

Re: FA cup purple kit
There was an extremely limited edition promotional thai dye one in the 80s or possibly very early 90s.

IIRC it was tied into the opening of a national sport shop (that could be wrong though), wasn't an official third kit, but must've been semi-official, what with it having the club's badge on and being sold nationwide.

It did not look good...

Fluorescent pink/yellow/orange will be our next alternate. Shame it won't be adidas making it. Maybe we can do something cooler like a tie dye alternate.

Our away kit rotation is good I like the idea of making some crazy alternates.

Id try and just wear it for the league cup going forward.

Re: FA cup purple kit

Or it could be that people can budget for the PL games from the start of the season, an extra cup game is thrown in, is on TV, on a Tuesday evening, and decide that they cannot afford to go. Just a thought. I thought 25k was a reasonable crowd given the facts above.

Re: FA cup purple kit
Of course they wont and im very happy to call them cunts when needed but there are so many hypocrites on this site moaning about tkt prices and gold said this about tkt prices or he said the other its fucking mind blowing.

You get whiners, you get happy clappers. I just call the club out when I think they've got it wrong. Not that they'll give a flying fuck.

Not missing just think you are defending the whiners on here which is bollox.

Re: FA cup purple kit
Kronic but surely if pl were ridiculous as u say we wouldnt sell out every week.
Yes it was a cup game but it was against premier league opposition with both sides playing pretty much a full 1st team in.

Re: FA cup purple kit
you really are a bit odd. i havent boasted, i mentioned that i have been a long term season ticket holder in response you you suggesting i was a new breed of fan. i think we all know you didnt go on tuesday, and that only reiterates my point about you only being on here out of some strange need to moan and argue with anyone. does it make you feel tough to call people names on the internet little man? and no, im not crying, im laughing at you you strange little man.

Re: FA cup purple kit
His stance on the cup last season, was one shared by the Board - there was a statement saying that iy had been a decision made jointly, and IIRC nothing afterwards saying any different.

In earlier news, David Gold purchased the oldest F.A. Cup trophy in existence, as he values the tradition of it, and didn't want to see it sold abroad.

How do you know I didn't? Unlike you, I don't feel the need to boast about being some superfan like an insecure little queer.

kronic what was your reason for not going mate?

Re: FA cup purple kit
AKA ERNIE 3:03

Which is a valid point. But why do we almost always sell out for Prem games at silly prices and not cup games at affordable ones?
It's not just down to people who can't be arsed, it's also down to the modern fan and their love-in with the Prem League whilst disregarding cup games as nothing more than an unnecessary distraction.
A bit like our fat oaf of a manager.

Re: FA cup purple kit
I liked the kit, just didn't like it at home. At least it's a full kit, the black away shirt last season looked shit due to the shorts and socks.

ROLL on BC

Re: FA cup purple kit
Kronic the points not about choosing to or not its about people not going to pl games cos theyre too expensive (which they are )
But then not going to a cup match for 20 quid cos theyre washing the dog or some other pathetic excuse.

So you think that my point regarding the modern fan preferring to spunk money on the Prem over the FA Cup isn't valid?
